FREE COMPOST PICK UP - Thursday

IS THAT SUNSHINE I SEE?! (I hope so...) Well, that means it's time to get into the gardens!

Mifflin Families and East Falls Community Friends, you are invited to meet us at the Thomas Mifflin School Basketball Court on Thursday, March 27 & Friday, March 28, to collect FREE (fertile!) COMPOST! Bring your own buckets or bags, wagons, and shovels to cart off as much compost as you can carry. Prefence will be given to those who show up during the designated time for compost pick up. (Please keep in mind we are an all-volunteer run group, here.)

ALTERNATE PICK UP OPTION: Life is hard! We understand! Can’t make it to the pick up time? Drop off a bucket clearly labeled with your information (name and phone number) on our volunteer’s porch at 3455 Indian Queen Ln, Philadelphia, PA. We will do our best to accommodate you and then you can pick up your compost in front of the Conrad Street garden beds at Thomas Mifflin School! Any compost not picked up by dusk on Friday will be given away or disposed of.

Bucket Drop-Off by Wednesday, March 26, 7pm: 3455 Indian Queen Lane, Philadelphia, PA 19129 (Leave your labeled bucket on porch or in front garden.)

DIY Compost Pick-up: Thu, Mar 27 & Fri, Mar 28, 12:45p-3:45p at Thomas Mifflin School Basketball Court, behind the gymnasium, 3624 Conrad St, Philadelphia, PA

After-Hours Pick-up: anytime after 3:45pm until dusk on Friday, 3624 Conrad St, in front of the gardens near the playground entrance. Any unclaimed buckets will be given away or disposed of.
